Just used it for the first time. If I knew it would be so easy would have purchased one before. My husband loves waffles and I was getting the frozen ones.
Can't wait to try the chocolate dessert waffles that are in the included book!
No sticking, fast and love the timer.

My son and I have had fun trying the different settings to determine which one we prefer most. The maker is easy to clean and use. The first time we used it we tried to make all of the waffles before we began eating and kept the cooked ones warm in a low temperature oven as our recipe suggested. However, the first ones cooked became soggy. The second time we cooked a batch we placed the cooked waffles on a cooling rack placed over a cookie sheet in a much warmer oven. These waffles stayed crispy. We only cooked enough at first for the first serving, then finished cooking the ones we were going to store for another meal. I think this was the right waffle maker for our needs.

I purchased the Chef's Choice M840B Waffle maker for my husband for Christmas and now it is my favorite small kitchen appliance. Makes the best waffles ever, nice and crispy on outside and moist inside. The recovery time is almost nil so you can take one waffle out and immediately place new batter in maker. For me, the secret to the batter (store bought or your own recipe)is an extra tablespoon sugar for crispiness. The batter should be thick and be sure to let it rest about 3 to 5 minutes after mixing. I use the Racheal Ray Lazy Ladle to measure the amount of batter for each waffle......just a little less than 1/2 cup. Can't say enough about this little appliance.

My girl wants pancakes, but my son wants waffles. This waffle maker keeps them both happy. With the color control knob I am able to make soft waffles for her and crisp waffles for him. And clean up is a snap! We are all happy... until lunch.
